Train clients to maintain their site

Once a site completes, most clients want to be able to edit and maintain their own site. At Second Street Web, we understand this and will assist with a solution.

To meet this need, we suggest our clients use Adobe Contribute. Contribute renders pages in a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) format. Editing is much like working within a Word document. If groups are involved in maintaining the site, it provides the following key features:

  • Document check-in and check-out
  • Document approval process (optional)
  • A built in publisher that moves pages to the site.

Second Street can develop templates to be used to generate new pages using Contribute. We also train clients on the use of Contribute. Clients can also self-train using any of the online tutorials. Here are two we recommend:
